About the Author

Mary Jane Carpentier was born in Glens Falls, NY in 1972 and has lived in Dutchess County, NY since 1996. She graduated from SUNY Adirondack Community College with degrees in communications & media arts, and health information technology. She also studied health information management at the University of Cincinnati. She has had a strong interest in art and poetry since childhood.
